I wish I had booked for longer! The service was wonderful and the women at the counter are so welcoming and lovely. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the beds were comfortable and pretty soft (for Cambodian standards). If i come back to Cambodia I will definitely be returning!

We had no idea what the resorts were like on Samloem so had to trust to Agoda and Google. Fortunately we landed on what was clearly one of the best resorts in the area on one of the best beaches. Sara Resort is great - friendly staff, good accommodation, and what appears to be one of the best/most popular restaurants in the area.

I was especially impressed with the customer service we received. We felt right at home at Sara Resort due to the amazing atmosphere and great service. I’d highly recommend Sara to anyone looking to visit KRS. You won’t be disappointed!

The rooms are really well done and have all of the modern luxuries you would expect to find in a 4* hotel, which is more than you get anywhere else on the island. The price is really good when you compare what you get to the guesthouse/resorts. The food is also by far the best on the island too.

This was fantastic to escape the city for a few days nice staff shinny new rooms and a perfect view of the crystal blue sea everything was even better than we had expected defined details make the place stand out from the others see you again soon

Koh Rong Samloem Hotel

Sara Resort in located on the Koh Rong Samloem island. Access to Koh Rong Samloem is via boat from the mainland at Sihanoukville on mainland Cambodia. There are a number of different boat options depending on how quickly you want to get there.

Most options cost approximately $25 for a return trip. Most visitors take the boat from Ochheuteal or ‘Serendipity’ Pier at Sihanoukville on mainland Cambodia, which drops you at the pier Saracen Bay, which is only a short walk from Sara Resort.
